Beome a Caddie
Caddie Services
As a Caddie, you’ll be right in the heart of the action, assisting players by carrying bags. The tournament requires a pool of 80-90 caddies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable game.
Whether you’re a golf enthusiast or someone looking to immerse yourself in a new community, your contribution will be crucial in creating a memorable experience for all participants.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Caddies will assist by carrying their player’s golf bag and with other course-related requests.
- Caddies need to be able to walk 18 holes over multiple days, carrying approximately 50 pounds.
- Basic golf knowledge and previous caddie experience is considered an asset.
- Caddies may be required to work long days, depending on the weather and other unpredictable conditions. Please ensure you are prepared for potentially extended hours on the course.
Tournament Operations (Setup / Tear Down)
Responsible for organising and managing tournament logistics, including setting up and dismantling equipment.
Volunteer Services
Coordinates and supports volunteers during the event.
Player Services
Assists players with their needs during the tournament.
Player Transportation
Manages transportation arrangements for players.
Practice Facilities
Oversees practice areas for players.
Admissions/Parking
Handles entry and parking logistics for attendees.
Starters, Marshals, Spotters
Guides players and maintains pace of play on the course.
Sand & Seed
Maintains sand bunkers and divot repair.
Scoring Central
Manages scoring and updates leaderboards. Driving Distance: Measures driving distances for players.
Leaderboard Operators
Updates and maintains live leaderboards.
Walking Scorers
Records player scores while walking alongside them.
Standard Bearers
Carries signs displaying player scores.
