Get closer to the game than ever before! Volunteering at the Explore NB Open gives you a front-row seat to professional golf while playing a vital role in making the event a success.
As a volunteer, you’ll be an essential part of the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly while enjoying fantastic perks along the way.

With 250+ volunteers, a great atmosphere, and an exciting tournament, you’ll be part of something special. Whether you’re a golf enthusiast or just want to lend a hand, we have a variety of positions to match your interests and abilities.
FIND YOUR PERFECT ROLE
Event Operations and Logistics
Tournament Setup & Teardown – Help build the tournament, from signage to seating.
Volunteer Services – Assist fellow volunteers with check-in and support.
Player Services – Ensure players have everything they need for a great experience.
Player Transportation – Drive players to and from the course. (Must be 25+, with a valid driver’s license).
Practice Facilities – Maintain practice areas for players.
Admissions & Parking – Welcome spectators and manage event entry.
Safety and Environment
Water Crew / Health & Safety – Keep volunteers and players hydrated.
Waste Management (Ecology) – Support our green initiatives by keeping the course clean.
Security – Assist with ensuring a safe and secure environment.
On-Course Operations
Starters, Marshals & Spotters – Keep play moving and ensure a smooth experience for players.
Sand & Seed Crew – Maintain fairways and bunkers for top playing conditions.
Scoring Central – Manage real-time scoring and leaderboard updates.
Driving Distance Team – Measure and record player drive distances.
Communication and Support
Leaderboard Operators – Keep leaderboards updated with live scores.
Walking Scorers – Walk with a group, track scores on a handheld device, and experience professional golf like never before (training required).
Standard Bearers – Walk with the players and carry the sign displaying scores.
WANT TO GET EVEN CLOSER? CADDIE FOR THE PROS!
Looking for a paid opportunity right in the heart of the action? Caddying for PGA TOUR Americas professionals is an unforgettable way to experience the game and support the players directly.
YOUR COMMITMENT, YOUR IMPACT
We ask our volunteers to commit to at least two shifts, each typically ranging from 4-6 hours. Some roles may require longer shifts, but we promise every moment will be rewarding!
A $65 (+ tax) commitment fee helps ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for the players and our guests. In return, you’ll receive an incredible perks package.
