More than 500 volunteers played a crucial role in the success of the 2024 and 2025 Explore NB Open. From event logistics to spectator engagement, these dedicated individuals ensured that every aspect of the tournament ran smoothly, helping create an unforgettable experience for all involved.

We are proud to present the exquisite Explore NB Open trophy, a fusion of artistry and heritage rooted in the cultural landscape of New Brunswick.

This one-of-a-kind piece was designed and handcrafted by Shane Perley-Dutcher, a Wolastoqiyik sculptor and jewellery artist whose work bridges tradition and contemporary expression. Using a handwoven silver technique inspired by ancestral basketry, Shane created a breathtaking tribute to the land, the people, and the enduring spirit of the Wolastoqey.

Over the last two years, our event generated an estimated $3 million in economic activity for New Brunswick. This includes increased tourism, business exposure, and support for local services. The event benefits the local economy by attracting visitors, boosting hospitality, retail, and service industries, and showcasing the province to a global audience.

In close collaboration with our partners, we actively support local sports and tourism initiatives, driving growth in these sectors and helping to promote New Brunswick as a top destination for both leisure and competitive sports.
